ID: a promo image with colored text that reads “Call for Art, Wild & Tame, an exhibition featuring artworks of animal life. From aquatic to terrestrial, cute to creepy- we want to see it all! Curated by Marissa Wegner, art by Marissa Wegner. In the lower left is a mosaic piece of a striped cat stretching. The cat has gray stripes and green eyes.

Wild & Tame celebrates animal friends of all shapes & sizes. Whether they be furry, scaly, slimy, living in the wilderness or in your home, depictions of animals of all descriptions are welcome.

Wild & Tame will be curated by Marissa Wegner, an multidisciplinary artist supported by Fresh Eye Arts. Marissa fell in love with mosaics when she helped install mosaic artwork at the Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary. She now creates her own mosaic pieces that celebrate her appreciation for nature. In addition to mosaics, Marissa paints and practices various fiber art mediums. Marissa says this about her art: “I like doing mosaics because I can get what’s in my mind out into the world.”

Wild & Tame will be presented alongside Yulemart, our annual holiday market.
